Full-Time Entry Level Administrator with Non-Profit
Wanted: Entry-Level Administrators to support Organizers and Advocates working to stop Global Warming, Ban Fracking, Protect Consumers, and Get Big Money out of Politics

The Public Interest Network is a nationwide network of nonprofit groups, including Environment America, U.S. PIRG, and Fair Share, that is dedicated to bringing people together in the fight for a stronger society, a healthier planet, and a government that works for all Americans, not just corporations. The organizations that make up the Public Interest Network each strive for solutions on their own, while the force of our combined strategies builds pressure for change across the political and economic spectrum. Several of those organizations are headquartered in the Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Denver. These organizations are responsible for numerous successes and across the country ranging from expanding our use of clean energy such as solar and wind, to saving bee populations to protecting consumers from the overuse of antibiotics, as just a few examples.
The Administrative team works provides operations support to groups nationwide. Responsibilities may include:
- Staff Support: Coordinate projects & schedules; create and maintain systems for tracking campaign product and goals; and maintain files and records.
- Communications: Coordinate internal communication between staff directors and departments.
- Event Logistics: Plan and organize staff retreats, campaign activities, trainings, and Board Meetings.
- Office management: Manage the organization’s physical infrastructure and information technology.
- Special Projects: Assist leadership staff and department heads with special projects as necessary.

Candidates must be detail-oriented and highly organized, have a friendly and professional demeanor, and be mature enough to manage confidential and/or sensitive information. Candidates must be comfortable working with computers and technology and specifically must be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be excited by the idea of making social change and winning on issues.
Candidates for this position should have between one and three years of administrative experience. We value experience with nonprofit organizations and political campaigns. Candidates must be able to make a two-year commitment.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary for this position is commensurate with relevant professional experience. TPIN offers a competitive benefits package.
