Who we are
The Lubetzky Family Foundation (LFF) is a newly formed organization working to find creative solutions to society’s greatest challenges. Its areas of focus include social enterprise, helping the most vulnerable in society, fostering critical thinking and empathy, and bridging divides between people. Started by Daniel Lubetzky, CEO & Founder of KIND Snacks, LFF is an energetic, inspired, and entrepreneurial team of people dedicated to social impact.
In addition to its own independent work, LFF and its teamwork with and help support two other independent charitable foundations affiliated with Daniel Lubetzky: The KIND Foundation and the Peaceworks Foundation. Their work includes:
• The KIND Foundation’s flagship initiative, Empatico – a free online learning tool that connects students across the country and the world. During Empatico exchanges, kids have the chance to chat about universal topics and, in the process, develop skills like curiosity and kindness.
• The Peaceworks Foundation’s OneVoice Movement – a global initiative that supports grassroots activists in Israel, Palestine, and internationally who are working to build the human infrastructure needed to create the necessary conditions for a just and negotiated resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

What you’ll do
We just onboarded the new Head of Lubetzky Family Foundation. You would be the second hire and play a key role in helping to establish this new foundation. Reporting to the Head of the Lubetzky Family Foundation, you will provide day to day support and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies.
Main responsibilities include:
• Administrative support including managing the head of the foundation’s calendar and complex time demands as well as files, contact database and expenses
• Managing correspondence and communications with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Head of the Foundation
• Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Head of the Foundation, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and determining the appropriate course of action, referral, or response
• Welcoming guests and creating a professional, responsive, collegial relationship with all those who engage with the Head of the Foundation
• Filtering and screening a high volume of emails, calls and incoming mail
• Providing additional support to the multi-organization philanthropic leadership team
• Coordinating meetings for the philanthropy team with internal and external partners, and meeting materials
• Coordinating and managing travel arrangements for both domestic and international travel
• Creating presentations and reports as requested to support the philanthropy team
• Assisting with special events and projects as needed

• 2 – 5 years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant (ideal, but not required)
• An exceptional academic record and Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Impeccable attention to detail
• An ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations
• Experience managing multiple calendars
• Experience organizing domestic and international travel
• Professionalism and discretion
• An ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills
• An ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities
• Proficiency in professional software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
