Denham Wolf Real Estate Services is an essential resource for New York City’s nonprofit community, providing expertise in transactions, development, and project management. Through our integrated services, we empower nonprofits to take a thoughtful, mission-first approach to real estate. We believe that an organization’s mission and programs should drive real estate projects, and this principle guides everything that we do. Denham Wolf has partnered with hundreds of nonprofits since its founding in 1998, shaping millions of square feet across New York City.
Denham Wolf is an equal opportunity employer and actively seeks to employ professionals that will contribute to the staff’s cultural diversity, diverse perspectives, and a sense of curiosity.
The primary responsibilities of the part-time, New York-based Summer Associate will include digital mapmaking, enhancing the team’s library of stock imagery, drafting thought leadership text, generating content for the firm’s social media platforms, and reviewing recent pieces of marketing collateral to identify key areas for improvement. Depending on the skills and interests of the Summer Associate, additional projects may include the design and production of recruitment materials, new hire materials, Denham Wolf-branded products, and/or materials for new business pitches and proposals.
Through these responsibilities and projects, the Summer Associate will be exposed to New York City’s commercial real estate industry and will learn the overall structure of brokerage, capital project management, and development planning projects. In addition, he or she will develop an expanded understanding of imagery’s role in the sales process, and potentially also in other aspects of a professional services business (eg. the recruitment/hiring process).
The role is New York-based and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager. While flexible, the Summer Intern is expected to work three days per week for approximately 13 weeks, beginning the week of June 3rd. The position requires proficiency with ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop. Familiarity with image usage rights / licensing, experience with professional printers, a natural talent for building and improving filing/archival systems, and basic copyediting skills are all strongly preferred.
