The intern will work closely with members of a small, dynamic team and will play a crucial role in the accomplishment of our goals. We strive to tailor internships to the needs and interests of each candidate and will provide hands-on instruction and training. The position requires a commitment of 18-20 hours per week (working remotely), with availability to attend in-person meetings throughout New York City. Weekly schedules and internship duration are flexible. Internship is unpaid or for school credit.
We are seeking one VIDEO PRODUCTION/GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN.
Responsibilities may include creating short reels, video editing, presentation decks, infographics, producing social media content, designs for our websites, updating our website on Squarespace, and turning written texts and concepts into impactful visual experiences.
We are looking for an organized, self-starting, detail-oriented, eco-minded, tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for lifestyle, contemporary art, design, and architecture. Working knowledge of Italian or Spanish is a big plus; multilingual in any variety is also highly desirable. Must be comfortable on Mac platforms.
Required knowledge includes expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), video editing software (such as Final Cut, After Effects, and Premiere Pro), and Squarespace. Applicants must have illustration and video editing skills. Candidate will provide their own equipment and software. Must also be comfortable working under tight deadlines.
